Finzean School is a small, vibrant primary school at the heart of our community, with Ballogie Nursery just two miles away. Together, we serve the families of Finzean, Ballogie and Strachan, building strong links across our catchment area.

We are proud of our warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and supported to develop the skills they need for the future. Our dedicated staff continually reflect on practice and lead improvement work to raise standards and achieve the best outcomes for all learners.

Pupil voice is central to everything we do. Children are active partners in shaping their learning experiences, fostering independence and confidence. We have recently been awarded Bronze - Rights Committed status and have started our journey working towards our Silver: Rights Aware Status.

Both our school and nursery are happy, welcoming places with a real sense of community spirit. We value and encourage parental involvement because we know children learn best when home and school work together.

Our settings benefit from outstanding outdoor spaces, including the school wood just half a mile away, and community paths linking both sites to nearby villages—perfect for learning beyond the classroom.
